In 117, Haro is donated by Alfonso VI of Castilla to Diego Lopez, Lord of Vizcaya, for his support in the war against Aragonese king. And since then, the Haro name had benn joined to Lords of Vizcaya till they lost in 1288 in the military confrontation between Sancho IV of Castilla and Lope de Haro, consequence of this confrontation was the death of the last one and the conquest by the king, where he called the court, known as "Haro court" in Villabona place.
